Around 250-300 representatives of 17-20 countries are expected to take part in the conference.
"Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine" is a unique event in CIS!
Keeping up traditions, organizers of the conference-exhibition "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine" - "APK-Inform: vegetables and fruits" weekly and the National Complex "Expo-center of Ukraine" will organize the meeting of Ukrainian fruit and vegetables business professionals on December, 1st-2nd, 2009. The place of the exhibition and the conference has become traditional and last year, the event was held the fifth year round.
Despite complicated economic situation that was arranged in Ukraine and in the world at the end of the last year, domestic agriculture and fruit and vegetable industry continued developing. Interest showed by the specialists of fruit and vegetable sector to the fifth international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine-2009" is the evidence of further development of this industry. International company "Netafim Ukraine" was the general sponsor of the conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine-2009" for the second time. "Shuvar", "Fito-mag" and "Sholler Arka Systems" were also the conference sponsors.
Traditionally large-scale and medium-scale producers formed the most numerous part of conference audience. We would also like to point out the increased number of the of wholesale companies - participants of the conference.
It should be noted that the main participants of the conference were mainly owners and top-managers of large-scale enterprises. Foreign companies were presented by suppliers of material and technical resources and equipment, trade enterprises and large-scale producers. Besides, well-known international experts participated in the conference.
This year as usual we will speak about forecasts of production and prices for main items of fruit and vegetable produce for 2009/10 MY. Special attention will be paid to impact of international economic crisis on fruit and vegetable sector of Ukraine. Arrangements which are applied by the companies for activity stabilization in the conditions of unstable economic situation will be included to the conference program. And up-to-date technologies for production and processing of fruit and vegetable produce will also be represented during the conference.
